The Estonian Radio Amateurs Union (ERAÜ) turns 90 years on March 1st! The society was registered by the Estonian authorities as a union in March 1935, but the actual activities of the society started in September 1935 with the first general meeting held and the first board elected. ERAÜ became the member of IARU in 1938. With the Soviet occupation in 1940 the activities of the union stopped and ERAÜ was only restored in 1991 after Estonia regained its independence. IARU restored ERAÜ-s membership in 1992. ERAÜ plans to celebrate its 90th anniversary with a special operation in September 2025.
